Brule, Buffalo counties named in London lawsuit

Brule and Buffalo county officials have been named in a lawsuit filed last week by Bonnie London of Kimball, the mother of the man involved in a 24-hour standoff with law enforcement officers in January of 2015.
According to federal court documents filed January 3, 2018, London is suing Brule and Buffalo counties in addition to Brule County Sheriff's Deputy Tory Engel, Buffalo Sheriff's Deputy Wayne Willman, special agent with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, Brandon Neitzert, and 50 various law enforcement officers identified as “John Does” for allegedly detaining her while she was trying to get medical help for her son, Donald London.
