Chamber commissions artists for promotional projects

In late June, the Chamber of Commerce Commissioned Keith Booth, Metal and Bone Sculpture artist to work on a metal walleye that will become a part of a gateway sign welcoming visitors to the community.

Booth is from Black Hawk, South Dakota and is famous for his metal and bone art. During the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, his bone motorcycle piece was one of the most photographed bikes at the rally. Mr. Booth is a selftaught welder and artist. He has a knack for creating unique art and drawing beauty from something that might otherwise be trash. Local companies have donated scrap metal for use in the sculpture.
