Members of the Chamberlain City Commission addressed a property owner's complaint regarding snow removal at the first meeting of the New Year January 2.
Property owner Dawn Harvey was not in attendance at the commissioner's meeting due to a conflict but submitted her snow removal complaint in writing with photographs. Harvey, who owns a home on a cul-de-sac on Scotts Lane stated she called the city following the late December snow as she felt the city had not plowed close enough to the curb. City Engenieer Greg Powell explained to Harvey that with 35 miles of streets within the city limits to be cleared, the city plow can not get close on the fist time through and that he would send a employee and a loader to the area to remove the snow. Harvey was upset that snow was dumped in her yard and felt it was done out of spite due to her complaint.
