Flood water damages American Creek Campground Fishing Pier
Spring flooding has taken its toll on Brule county roads and bridges. Missouri River flooding in the Chamberlain area has also damaged the American Creek Campground and Fishing Pier (above left). Due to strong winds and the rapid break up of the ice on the river, the fishing pier was severely damaged by ice chunks and tree logs.
