Flowrestling ranks Hutmacher as No. 1 heavyweight wrestler
Chamberlain’s Nash Hutmacher has dominated high school wrestling in South Dakota over the last few years, and now his accomplishments have led to receiving top honors from the national media. Flowrestling released its national high school wrestling rankings for the 2019-2020 season, and Chamberlain’s Nash Hutmacher ranks No. 1 at 285 pounds
. “It’s great... but I can’t get complacent... there is always someone coming up that wants to be number one,” said Hutmacher referring to ranking. “I have to keep working hard!” Last week, USA TODAY High School Sports, announced the ALL-USA Boys Wrestling Teams for the 2018-19 season, based on past performance, level of competition and strength of schedule. Hutmacher was named to the third team. He was one of 42 wrestlers from around the country to receive a spot on either the first, second or third team. Hutmacher credits the support of the entire Chamberlain/Oacoma community for helping him reach these accomplishments, from wrestling coaches, to teachers, parents, and a host of family and friends that continue to encourage him.
