Helping Hands during the Holiday season

Respect, trustworthiness and caring are just a few pillars from the 4-H Character Counts program that every 25 members from the New Horizons 4-H Club measure themselves by. This year, members are focusing on the caring and citizenship pillars by giving back to the community during the holiday season.

For the past three years, leaders Jeff Tveit and Lori Lafferty have spearheaded the New Horizons Club’s Helping Hands Project to their club, which originated with the Wanalain 4-H Club several years ago. The leaders encouraged each member to give back to a business, non-profit organization, classmate or community member.
