Local event features international disciplines

Chamberlain has been home to an accomplished martial arts studio for nearly seven years. This Saturday, River Dragon Martial Arts will host its sixth annual martial arts tournament at the National Guard Armory in Chamberlain. Action begins at 10:30 am. Admission is $3 per adult and $1 for youth age 16 and under.

According to instructor Tim Solberg, the tournament is open to the public and designed to benefit the community as much as RDMA students.

At past events, the tournament has been opened by the Chamberlain High School choir singing the National Anthem while the Explorers group assisted with tournament flow.
