Communities across South Dakota rolled out the orange carpet for pheasant hunters, Saturday, October 21, for the 2017 pheasant hunting season opener.
Local motels and other businesses in the Chamberlain/Oacoma area saw many hunters over the weekend. Pilot Jesse stated that while it is a 4-seater, its size does not allow much space for hunting equipment. Others in the Minnesota group drove to Oacoma for a weekend of pheasant hunting.
