Todd Hawke

Todd Alan Hawke was born to Alan and Maxine (Philpott) Hawke on July 17, 1966 in Mason City, IA. He attended school in St. James, MN and graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1985. Todd passed away on October 3, 2016 as the result of an automobile accident. On June 18, 2005, he and Jessica Steen joined their two families bringing to the union five children; Lyndi Hudson (Hawke) and Alex Hawke, Chelsey Steen, Cody Gronewold and Caitlyn Gronewold. Todd spent 31 years of his life working as a service manager for Harvestore and also had a passion for restoring anything with an engine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, participating in truck pulls, enduro racing, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. For the last year, he enjoyed working as a mechanic for Dubbelde repair in Chancellor, SD. Todd was known for his perfectly placed inappropriate jokes, being a risk-taker, having a sense of humor, being extremely loyal and hardworking, and always being willing to lend a helping hand to others. He loved his family to his core. He was proud of all of his children and even more proud to be “Papa Todd” to his grandchildren, Emersyn and Wyatt. He was very excited to learn that two more grandchildren are on the way in Spring 2017. Todd is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jessica, his daughter Lyndi (Phil) Hudson, son Alex Hawke, daughter Chelsey Steen, son Cody Gronewold and daughter Caitlyn Gronewold, and two grandchildren, Emersyn Hudson and Wyatt Hawke. also, his mother Maxine Hawke and sister Kimberly (Scott) Enebo, niece, Jessica Carmody and nephew Mitchell Enebo, father-in-law Richard Steen, and brothers-in-law Jason (Kim) Steen, nephew, Derek Steen. two nieces, Danielle Glende and Madison Glende. Todd is proceeded in death by his father Alan Hawke, his sister Annette Hawke, granddaughter Avery Hudson, and mother-in-law Carol Steen.
