“Lets Play Ball”

The Chamberlain Jr. Teener’s held a double-header home opener Monday night at Greig Field against Winner. Chamberlain lost the first game 9-5 but came back and won the second game 2-1. Pitching is Dakota Munger with Sandler Wiekamp catching. The Jr. Teerners are coached by Craig Wiekamp and Marshall Munger. The next home game is 6:00 p.m. Wed., June 17, a double-header against Gregory. On Tuesday, June 23 Chamberlain will host Kimball/White Lake at 7:00 p.m.

Sean Johnson was one of many people who took advantage of the warm temperatures last Friday to play a round of golf at the Chamberlain Country Club. The Spring weather didn’t last long as a couple of inches of new snow and cold temperatures returned to the area Easter morning.

Thigh and Priebe selected to SESD all-conference team

The coaches from the Southeast South Dakota Conference selected fifteen area boys basketball players for 2019-2020 SESD All-conference boys basketball team. Coaches in the league voted for 15 players, with 15 points for their top pick and one point for the fifteenth pick. Keshaume Thigh and Drayton Priebe were among the players chosen as members of the team.
