Aberdeen Roncalli holds off Cubs

The final regular season game did not end well for the Cubs. The Cavaliers from Aberdeen Roncalli handed the Cubs a 77-63 defeat in spite of the Cubs rallying in the fourth quarter by out-scoring the Cavs 21-19. Chamberlain had the lead at the end of the first period, 12-9. Aberdeen Roncalli went on a 29-10 surge in the second period to lead 38-22 at the half. The third quarter was even with both teams putting up 20 points. The Cubs struggled offensively from outside the arc making only 3-of- 16 shots. They completed 19-of- 30 field goals and 16-of-19 free throws. Four of the Cubs were 100% from the charity stripe. The team tallied 16 turnovers ad 13 personal fouls. Drayton Priebe led the Cubs with 20 points followed by Louie Running Horse with 18. KeShaume Thigh added 10 points. Cameron Caldwell scored eight, Brant Gullickson had five points and Hayden Evans had two points in the contest
