Cubs battle Bulldogs

The Chamberlain basketball fans were entertained by a boys' high school basketball game on Tues., Jan 23, at the Chamberlain Armory. Chamberlain had a 12 point lead in the middle of the fourth quarter, but Madison clawed their way back to take the game into overtime. The outcome wasn't what the Cub faithful wanted to witness, as Chamberlain lost to Madison 70-72.

Madison arrived in Chamberlain with an 11-1 record. The average height on the floor throughout most of the game was 6'3”. The Bulldogs shot 55% of their two-point field goals and completed nine-ofeleven free throws. They out-rebounded the Cubs 37- 25. The five starters scored in double figures earning 61 of their 72 points. Socring for Madison were; A. Fiegen 18, Comes 12, Jadon Janke 11, Jaxon Janke and Josh Giles with 10 each.
