Cubs BBB look to be a quick and speedy team

Coach Adam Nelson believes quickness is the team's strength for this season. “Our guards are very quick. They are good at pushing the ball up the floor quickly and then working to find a great shot for each other. We move the ball very well and we will look to put a lot of pressure on other teams defense with great ball movement and the ability to find the open guy. Our quickness should help us be able to keep teams out of the paint on the defensive side of the floor,” stated the coach.

Nelson lost four very good players due to graduation. Seth Friesz and Tiegen Priebe, both Allstaters and All-conference players, along with Dodge Knippling, an All-conference player, and Rich Marone who saw significant time on the floor. He has five letter winners coming back; Seniors Carson Powers, Riggs Priebe, Marc Schwenk, Jake Mutziger, and Junior, Brant Gullickson. Up-and-coming athletes on the team are; Senior, Caden Medicine Eagle, Juniors, Jazz Dominguez and Carlton Felicia, and Freshmen Cameron Caldwell, Drayton Priebe, Kolby Hyland, and Hayden Evans. Assistant coaches are Steve Schoenhard and Steve Nelson.
