Cubs place in top ten at Rapid City Invitational
The Chamberlain Cub wrestling team had a very successful weekend at the Rapid City Invitation this past week end. The team finished in 9th place out of 36 teams with 104 points. This is the highest finish the team has ever placed. It is also the most placers the Cubs have ever had at the high caliber tournament.
Pierre was the team champion followed by both Rapid City schools, Bismarck High, Aberdeen, Gillette, Sturgis, and Huron. Nash Hutmacher continued his winning ways by bringing back the championship for the second year in a row by pinning all his opponents. Gabe Skustad brought home a 6th place medal. He worked his way back through the wrestle backs to earn his way into the medal round.
