JV gymnasts dominate at Hot Springs Meet

Once again, the JV gymnastics team finished in first place with 104.10 points, 27 points ahead of Hot Spring with 76.65, Wall/Kadoka/Phillip coming in third with 55.50 points and Stanley County placing fourth with 43.70 points. Chamberlain claimed 20 places taking all five places on the Bars and the top three places in the All-around. Grace VanderLey had a stellar meet with winning the All-around (26.15) and finishing second on the Beam (7.10), Bars (4.90), and Floor (6.95). She had a sixth- place finish on the Vault (7.20).

Cedar Hawk was second in the All-around with a score of 25.85. She split first with Kathrinn Hopkins on the Floor with a score of 7.25. She had a third on the Beam (7.00) and split third on the Vault with Mianna Tveit scoring 7.70. Hawk's lowest score of 3.90 on the Bars, was good enough for fifth place.
