Lady Cubs blow out Panthers

The Chamberlain Lady Cubs played three consecutive game last week with the third game against the Platte-Geddes Black Panthers on Sat., Feb. 16 at the Chamberlain Armory. The Lady Cubs were missing two starters, Makenzie Sorensen and Treyah Sitting Bear, but received valuable minutes from their bench and defeated the Lady Panthers 57-30. The score was knotted at 10 by the end of the first period. In the second stanza, Hannah Anderson scored eight points and Mady Handel chipped in seven. At the half, the Cubs had a 27-16 lead.
